Pope Leo XIV reminds catechumens and neophytes that we are not born Christian, but are welcomed into new life through Baptism, where we are clothed with Christ and become part of His Church.
The Order of Christian Initiation of Adults (OCIA) is the journey by which adults prepare to enter the Catholic Church. It is also a place of inquiry for those who are simply exploring the Catholic faith or seeking to learn more.
OCIA may also serve Catholics who were baptized but have not yet received Confirmation and/or First Holy Communion.
