Altar serving is a meaningful ministry and a special opportunity to participate more fully in the celebration of the Mass. By serving at the altar, young people deepen their understanding of the liturgy, grow in faith and responsibility, and provide an important service to our parish community.

Training Requirements

Fr. Bob requires all new altar servers to complete a training session before serving at the altar. Initial instruction is led by Craig and Rebecca Coley. This preparation helps each server develop the knowledge, confidence, and reverence needed to serve well.

At least one parent is encouraged to attend their child's training session.

Also, the Media Release Form is available below.  Download and complete the form, which must be signed by both the parent and the server. Because our liturgical celebrations are frequently photographed or live streamed, a completed Media Release Form is required.

Please bring the signed Media Release Form to the training session. New servers will not be added to the ministry schedule until both the required training and Media Release Form have been completed.
